chalice to the open sky...
Come... Sip the nectar

Hello Lea,
what a glorious lavender tulip tree you have offered us here and yes it does look like a chalice, a grail for anyone seeking that sacred shape that seems to appear so often in nature. I wanted you to know that I went to visit the labyrinth after you wrote to me. It was a wonderful experience. I am working on my thesis and it is going well. I shall go for another visit I think. Thank you!

Noelle

This is indeed a beautiful tree. I will forever remember the idea of each blossom being a chalice. When I think about it, many flowers are, tulips certainly mimic a chalice. I love the haiku. Nice job!

Peace

Beautiful picture!! Spring is just around the corner and even though my winter experience here in Indiana has not be as cold and miserable as it has been in years past, Spring is still inviting! Wonderful haiku! Thank you!

What a beautiful metaphor...
Tulip blooms as chalices.
Tulip trees have to be one of my favorite things.
