Stone Five ~ Stopping, Here, Now...

I’m behind, the wind is blowing… Like you, there are things that I just have to do before I sit down and write… but I stop, here, now, and notice the way the wooden bird and flag on my front porch dance in the breeze… I am mesmerized by their spiral waltz... Something I never would have noticed if I had not taken the time to slow down and let this late Saturday afternoon woo me into this very moment…
