haiku my heart ~  Time

At the water's edge...
Time dances between the lines.
This path springs a-new.

With dogs leaping around me... I created this simple three-circuit Classical labyrinth at the Spring Lake Park water's edge on Sunday, July 22nd for the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene. I joined with my dear friend Marilyn Larson from here... to her group gathered over there... on the edge of the waters of the great Mississippi.
Paths crossing... in time out of time...

I wish, like time, I could dance between the lines. Delightful imagery!

Eastern Sky Aflame (with Fence)

Beautiful and timeless. Reminded me a lot of the rippling audio and literary effects by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, and Trio Joubran, in his poem (with English subtitles here) - "Wait For Her" or "Lesson in the Kamasutra"- hope you will like it too:

how fitting this magnificent honoring of mary magdalene lies so still, so austere, so evocative of nature, living on in the circle of life.

Don was on the banks of the Mississippi that day too. Serendipity.

What a beautiful thought - time dancing at the water's edge. :) Loved it.

Oh how I would want to sit at that river edge, watching you making a labyrinth and talking in French (*teehee*) ... the idea makes me giggle - we would laugh and dance the years away! I hope that day may come that we do this for real!
